Reservation Policy
Because the Governor's Mansion has just two suites, advance reservations are highly suggested.
All reservations must be guaranteed with an accepted credit card.
Reservations may require a 50% deposit at the time of booking for special events.
We accept personal checks, travelers checks, Visa and MasterCard.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to arrival will be billed the full rate. Late arrivals and early departures will be charged for their full reserved stay. A 15 day cancellation prior to holidays and special events is required, including but not limited to: the week before Christmas through New Years Day, Spring Break, Boom Days and the Leadville Trail 100 races.. Your credit card will be billed for the full rate if not cancelled 15 days in advance.
Pet Policy
We regret that we are unable to accommodate guests with pets.
General Information
The Governor"s Mansion is a non-smoking residence. We welcome children 10 years of age or older.
We take pride in providing clean, comfortable accommodations for our guests. Except for emptying trash and replenishing paper products, we do not provide daily maid service. Guests are responsible for washing their own dishes, pots and pans, etc. It is OK to leave clean dishes in the dish drainer when you leave. A cleaning fee of $50 will be charged if dirty dishes are left after you check out or if the unit is dirty beyond what is normal.
There is also a $10 per key charge for lost keys.
